I don't understand how you can *NOT* experience that if you ever used the Mirage in A/A.

I have read a lot of threads about the lock drop issie and imho it IS an issue...I lost lock of a mig-29 at 15nm head on in HFR/ENT/BFR straight flight same altitude (or me slightly lower) for no reason (hell, even flying to a damn tanker I lost the lock several times during approach whithout any logical changes in the approximation )...no beaming, no notching, no nothing...lock just drops and its a pain in the butt...I'm sick of loosing 530s due to this.

 

I can't figure out why would this happen in real life but if that would happen so easily irl it would be just crazy for m2000 pilots. no other radar I racall in DCS behaves like this and its so bad and frustrating that I've think about leaving the m2000.

Never had any lock problem, and the 2000 is my main module since it came out.

Never saw this issue in the last 18 months and did A/A regular. No break off lock under mysterious circumstances. At latest Tacview showed my responsibility.

Not only Im not the only one not experiencing that, but also you could read some radar articles to see if you are missing something. It's never too late to learn.

I'm also surprised some of you never experience this issue...as I said, just tracking a big tanker in oposite directions, few miles and same flight level make sme lost lock many times.

Well, I do have problems at finding targets like if the radar's power was from the 50's. But tracking... Never.

On the avionics side, I still have to start working on the promised changes, but they will be coming.

What is pending on the avionics side appart from the AG radar that is not on Razbam's side?

 

Does this include these 3 bugs?

 

- Precision Bombing CCRP bug

 

- CCRP Overshoot bug

 

- ILS FD bug
