Hello.

Do we have the possibility to use the warthog HOTAS three way switches by default with the Harrier or aren't the bindings setup for them ?

I’m sure someone will program them fairly quickly if it isn’t implemented as standard. Seems to have happened with just about every other module too.

The "issue" here is whether or not there are relevant three position switches in the Harrier, or if there are abstractions that Razbam can put together that make sense. Since it's early and I'm still half asleep, I won't try to make suggestions, but since we got similar things for the Mirage I would say its a distinct possibility!

i had a coffee and i support your possibility :-D

'Flaps' and 'Water' seem obvious choices for 3pos switches.

'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction.

I did not made presets for the Warthog HOTAS nor the X-55 Rhyno (or the new X-56) because unlike the Cougar MFDs, they need to be programmed to each individual taste.

The Cougar MFDs need to be configured to the specific AV-8B NA button configuration as depicted in the Pocket Guide. Basically all buttons have been used on both MFDs because the aircraft has two MPCDs.

The community isn't asking for default assignments.

We just need the bindable commands implemented in the lua, as in:

flap switch up (exists today)

flap switch down (exists today)

flap switch up else middle (new)

flap switch down else middle (new)

This way we can handle the assignment to our favorite position on the warthog, without needing to edit the lua code.
