FistofZen Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 While in game, to have the ability to switch from MGRS to Latitude(both types) and vice versa, while in F10 view mode. Am I special?

El Bastardo Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) LAlt + Y (Info bar coordinate units toggle). LAlt + Z if you have a QWERTZ keyboard. Edited February 16, 2018 by El Bastardo
FistofZen Posted February 16, 2018 Author Posted February 16, 2018 LAlt + Y (Info bar coordinate units toggle). LAlt + Z if you have a QWERTZ keyboard. Thanks dude. This works. 1 Am I special?
Jarlerus Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 LAlt + Y (Info bar coordinate units toggle). LAlt + Z if you have a QWERTZ keyboard. Is there an official list of these shortcuts? =) So many handy ones, but no real system in game to get an overview of them (so very old-school though! - Dwarf-Fortress-esque :D) //Jarl Jarl at YouTube DCS Service Span and Wishlist Spreadsheet Forum post for discussion of above spreadsheet Retro Electro Playlist on Spotify

You can export them as html, like this. :D edit: dropbox link probably doesn't work, this is how it's supposed to look like: Edited February 18, 2018 by grunf
SnowTiger Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 +1 It might also be nice to also have decimal formats. Absolutely right. It can be a nuisance especially when you are in a hurry to have to do mathematical calculations just to Convert Coordinates to a usable format for the Gazelle. Of course, "IF" there was a Calculator in F10 that would be one thing. But there isn't. And it's simply a pain in a hoop to have to calculate to convert. It's not really conducive to safe flight either (because often times coordinates have to be input "on-the-fly"). 1 SnowTiger AMD Ryzen 9 7950X - Zen 4 16-Core 4.5 GHz - Socket AM5 - 170W Desktop Processor ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-A GAMING WIFI 6E Socket AM5 (LGA 1718) Ryzen 7000 gaming motherboard Geforce RTX 4090 Gaming Trio X - 24GB GDDR6X + META Quest 3 + Controllers + Warthog Throttle, CH Pro Pedals, VKB Gunfighter MKII MCG Pro G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo Series 64 GB RAM (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 RAM

SnowTiger Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 Well that's good to know. I thought it only cycled through a couple other coordinate types.
