Nearly every day I get 1 module to activat again...

Yes, every day when I start DCS, I get some module of the ones I have needs "reactivation"... Has been like this since last patch now. Please fix.

Is your system dual booting or having hardware / OS changes?

 

add you dcs.log after it happens so we can take a look

 

what antivirus or security are you using?

Make sure you are not holding down any modifier keys: shift, ctrl, alt, etc. This is how you command a manual popup of the activation dialog.

Random module reactivation screen popup sometimes for me time to time. No hardware cnages. No OS changes. No modifier keys pressed. Approximately once per month. This happening long before 2.5.0 openbeta.

I not reactivate and the next start not prompted again.

EDIT: Antivirus: Windows Defender/Win8.1; My mods is only liveries/cockpit textures.

Exactly what discwalker writes. maybe like every 10th time or so that I start DCS it asks me for a module to activate.

If you are not holding down or pressing any keyboard keys during the load there should be no problem.

 

I would recommend removing all unofficial modules and modifications, do a cleanup and repair, then test with a vanilla install.

 

It wont be any IP change, I use a vpn and never have a problem with changing IP's

try adding your dcs folder to its allowed / whitelist and test for any change.

 

Antivirus has been known in the past to create problems.

Ok will do that once my Avira icon decides to show up in taskbar :P (when restarting explorer.exe, Avira fails, not loading the icon into taskbar anymore...)

On my gaming machine, I run no anti-virus. Windows 7.

 

Ever since 2.5, I have been getting the same thing as everyone else. Occasionally, I am asked to activate but when I do, it says that it's already activated. I just carry on.

 

I think it's the new DRM modules checking themselves in with Big Brother.

 

I don't mind. But it does get irritating when three modules want to check in at the same DCS launch.

Check Your Serial Number on the DCS Website, make sure you are the only IP Address that is using it.

 

Logs show a few World Modules w/ Bad serials:

Yep... it is StarForce activation window acting annoying and opening the window every 30 days for every module I own to activate again / click activate and then "yes" button to "use existing serial code", intead of doing that in background automatically...

This is unusual behaviour that I have never seen, I would suggest contacting support.

 

The only reason you should be getting activation window is if you have made a hardware change, OS change, or pressing the shift or ctrl keys during startup.

 

My only guess is a third party tool or security could be creating the problem, but this is just a guess.

Again, got FC3 activation window without hardware change. According to my theory, next time my game will ask for CA module activation in 2 weeks from today, on 4th april, then we have definitely confirmation that all modules ask for activation after 28 days/1 month.

Now Bf.109 activation, this is first time I think, cannot remember. if my theory is right, in 2 days it will ask AGAIN to "activate" CA module... I am curious...

YESSS CONFIRMED!!! CA module asking for activation today!!! so YES every module asks in StarForce for reactivation every 30 days!! Terribly annoying bug!

Yep, had to restart DCS (wouldn't start in VR mode atm. for whatever reason), now MiG-15 message aswell... why StarForce, why?

You are the only user getting this issue as far as I can tell which makes it even more strange.

 

I would suggest contacting support so they can check your serial numbers
