RacoonE69 Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 Hi. When creating a mission with the Editor (in Static climate) in the winter season, the minimum temperature is fixed at 8.4 C °, so it is not possible that there is snow. The temperature can be raised, but when you lower it, you will only reach the indicated one. In dynamic climate the same thing happens. However, when creating a Quick Mission, and placing winter season, if it is created with snow and, according to the briefing, temperature of -6C °. Make a repair, but the problem remains the same. I updated the beta 1.5.8 to 2.5.0 following instructions and I had no problem, except as indicated. Regards.
Nealius Posted March 9, 2018 Posted March 9, 2018 I'm able to go below 8.4C in winter season no problem. You can also manually type a temperature and it will take.

Unfortunately, in my case, what you indicate is not possible. Although I type a temperature lower than 8.4, when I enter with the mouse or frame another box or try to save the parameters, the temperature returns to the minimum value that I have described :cry::cry:

Works fine in DCS 2.5 beta here, have been using it for a month or more in edited missions I am doing in winter time with temps ranging from -12c up to 10c. If still not working, send me your mission so I can have a look. Cheers, Ian. Mustang Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 According to the terrain.cfg.lua (Mods\terrain\Caucasus) winter parameters are: line401: maxTemperature = 10.4; line402: minTemperature = -12.4;

Change to January and voila, the snow appeared. Thank you all for the attention provided regards :smilewink:
Vitormouraa Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 Yes, you can't change the temperature to a winter temperature without changing the month. :) Minimum is -12C as Mustang said. SplashOneGaming Discord https://splashonegaming.com
