That sounds like symptoms of the memory leak issue which was not fixed on this week's update. Look around the 2.5 forums if you are unfamiliar with it. Thanks!

Right, but what you are describing is EXACTLY what folks experiencing the memory leak issue see.

I seem to be experiencing the same. Would loading something in SP work regarding regenerating shaders and so on?

 

Yes. Load into each map you have if you delete your shaders so it can recompile.

Yup this update went the opposite direction.Since 2.5 where I could only join low pop servers, today can't even join a 1 person server !!!

 

This is beyond ridiculous! I hope this is PRIORITY NUMBER ONE for DCS and all work on other modules are halted until this gets fixed! Why push out F18, F14 or any other module if we won't be able to play it on MP?????????????????????

The same problem. Prior this update I could join (waiting 5-10minutes at 1-5 fps) 1-5 people servers. Now nothing. 12gb for nothing. I play multiplayer. Not single player (which goes very slow loading but goes at least)

Loading a mission on SP first fixed the issue for me it seems.

 

This will help for sure. First load of any shader will always take longer.

Can you get them to pre-load in the background after the game is started? Along with a nifty little progress bar somewhere on the screen - that would be a nice little thing to do. Defaults could be set up for which ones to load.
