Game Freeze In Mi-8, F-5

[VAF [136] Striker]

Freezes as soon as I hit "fly". Before I do that I can see the cockpit in the background moving around with my TrackIR. Does it in the campaign or in quick start missions so it's not mission related. I can use other modules fine. I've attached the log file.

Thanks Bignewy. I did what you required and still crashes. I don't have any mods for the Mi-8 and just custom textures in the saved games folder for the F-5. The A-10C is crashing now when I try to click on the battery button. New log file attached for that problem. I'm also seeing aircraft parked at weird angles now like when 1.5 first came out and the axis controls for the F-15 don't work with my Warthog setup.

Thank you. I'm downloading latest Nvidia drivers but it sounds like you guys are on top of it.

 

Update: Video drivers didn't help but you probably already know that.

F-5 Module Not working

 

Mine is doing the same exact thing in the F-5 module, A-10C works fine, I also notice that my throttles in my f-15 go to military when engines turned on, with no ability to change throttle position,

 

 

Edit: After rereading the post I checked all my axis on the F-15 and none of them work

My F5 locks up as well, I get into the cockpit but then just the white hourglass hovering after I hit "fly". I can make the F15C fly, but have no HOTAS controls.

 

Clean install no mods on the system below and my Broadwell E system with similar equipment/GPU.

On an additional note: SU-25T flies but gives random (and extreme) stick deflections as if there was a ghosting issue or something...

sounds like double inputs, have you checked only one device is controlling each axis?

Not yet, i just did a quick check on gfx & sound settings after updating and everything still was set up as i customized it. Therefor i assume all other options/settings must be same as i had it set up in the previous version as well.

 

Will check for double settings when i get home in a few hrs.

Just to join to conversation, I have exactly same problem as Striker

Same problem here, when loading a simple free flight in the MI-8, it freezes 3/4 of the way, Alt-F4 wont work and ctrl-alt-del back to the joblist wont work.

 

Only loggin off windows works.

 

Loading a freeflight in KA-50 works but the keybindings for the cyclic is gone

Nice job on the patch guys!! We were very pleased to find everything working so well tonight. I can't believe how smooth it is and all the modules I tested are working great including the Mi8. You all must have busted your buts to get it out considering it was midnight Moscow time.

 

Do you have any idea why Steam users might be having trouble connecting to some MP servers? Was just wondering if this was something being worked on.
