503 error, login failed

What the heck is this? I've never seen it before. Now multiplayer is unavailable and I have 2+ days to play offline.

 

Internet connection is 100% OK, obviously.

Yeah, it went away on its own. I've never had a DCS login problem before.

MP not available.

 

It appears I can use DCS in SP for 2-3 days....

 

Considering the £'s invested I'm not sure I like this 'new' security method at all......

Do you use auto login for DCS? it should store your last login and give you upto 3 days from the last login.

It's worst that I thought. I thought that the DRM 3 days countdown began the first time we launch DCS with a connection down ( customer's connection fail or ED servers down )

 

But No. It depends from the last time we used DCS with connection.

 

That means that if I return from more than 3 days outside my home and ED servers are down at this time, I can't even launch DCS. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

 

Around last Christmas, Wags made an announcement about end of DRM.

What about this announcement ?

As I have mentioned already ED is currently working on an offline mode.

 

The new DRM being used by ED is being tweaked.

 

When ED have more news to share they will.
