crazyeddie Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Now that I am getting used to the new Causcasus Map and working out its little foibles, I am loving it, it just looks so much better than before. Within the ME we have the same old buildings as we have always had, some of them really quite poor for the modern map. Is there a plan to add other or newer buildings to this feature, I would particularly like to be able to add some trees in a few places. We can remove them, it would be great to add a few back where we want them. Is that being considered, is it even possible, I appreciate the trees might not be as simple as it sounds.

As well as adding a comprehensive new set of static objects, that are maybe nation specific (instead of just one for all). The list is really quite long... *Deep breath* HESCO Bastion - preferably of different sizes, colours and configurations. Examples include: individual blocks, straight walls, inside and outside corners, rounded corners, towers/bunkers. Obviously for each there should be multiple sizes and variants where applicable and these should be stackable (I think things are already stackable, but just in case they're not). Bremer Walls - again straight walls, corners etc, obviously of different lengths and heights. New bunkers, pillboxes, outposts, guard towers and other fortifications of different sizes, configurations and variants, maybe include RL examples Fences, storage tanks, camouflaged netting, sandbags and other misc equipment. New command centres, FARP structures, ammunition depots, tents, barracks etc of different sizes and configurations (maybe try and match RL examples and make them so each nation has it's own variant where applicable). Environmental objects, such as rocks, trees, bushes, craters, levees, ramparts, bastions and mounds Static objects that can have triggered actions, such as IEDs, lights, beacons, barriers and sirens. Mine variants i.e anti-tank and anti-personnel, maybe in the future naval mines of different types. New heliport variants, we have a 4 and a single, but maybe for the single one make the styles more consistent or add more variants. Piers, jetties, buoys, (working) maritime beacons/lighthouses etc New antennae and masts of appropriate variants (civil/military) etc. Improved destroyed vehicles/buildings etc. New containers of different colours, maybe an open ended one as well. Rangers Assets Packs, VP's Airfields Pack, to name but 2. I look around the Nevada Map and some of that stuff would be wonderful to have, and would fit in with the other maps depending on your mission period. Sadly I have not found any way to extract that stuff from the game, so it would be nice if ED could make some of it available in the Mission Editor. I would particularly like some of the new trees, they are great. We live in hope !! :thumbup:

Just Relais tat, blended by the fantastic view of all that trees and forests, Water SMOK …... in urban areas are mainly Ground textures with a few buildings present. Flying a Mountain Mission build in 1.5, a little town looks quite nice. But in 2.5 next to the Ground Textures only a few ugly buildings left. Look at Kutaisi for example – a hand full of Streets and a couple of scattered buildings. According to Streets and Buildings LAS VEGAS and all the desert City's in NEVADA appears like New York downtown, and CAUCASUS is the real desert. Involved in Mission Building, I really hope ED will assimilate more of these 3. Party work. Or at least make an official ad on out of it. Don't use MODS in Mission building, because i never downloaded a MOD based Mission mad by fellow pilots, working without lots of issues or simply denied to start.
