Kaned Dragon Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Hi, I've been trying to get to grips with the weapon release system on the Harrier. I can't seem to get bomb to drop in different salvo's / intervals. I've been able to get singles and pairs to work. But if I'm carrying let's say. 3 x 82's or 3 x mk20's on the weapon bays. I can't seem to get them to drop in any order. I'm trying to set them up to release 1 at a time every half a second. Or have pairs release every half a second. So far they all go at once, every time I've tried. Anyone got any links or hints. I'm starting to wander if the release intervals and quantity amounts aren't implemented yet. BR
Esac_mirmidon Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Still not implemented. " You must think in russian.." [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Windows 7 Home Premium-Intel 2500K OC 4.6-SSD Samsung EVO 860- MSI GTX 1080 - 16G RAM - 1920x1080 27´ Hotas Rhino X-55-MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals -Track IR 4
Kaned Dragon Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 Still not implemented. Cheers dude, I'm guessing that means it will get added when it's done.
Esac_mirmidon Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Sure, they will add this and other missing features. " You must think in russian.." Schmidtfire Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I do like the end result more than the journey, at least when it comes to a simulator I have limited time to use every weekend. But that might just be me... Salvo and interval functionality is very important for bombing runs, so I do hope it get looked at soon. It should be no 1 priority along with the auto-start and auto-stop commands :)
Sarge55 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Hmmm. "no 1 priority along with the auto-start and auto-stop commands" Hardly... should only come with the final release. That might just be me though. :music_whistling: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7 10700K OC 5.1GHZ / 500GB SSD & 1TB M:2 & 4TB HDD / MSI Gaming MB / GTX 1080 / 32GB RAM / Win 10 / TrackIR 4 Pro / CH Pedals / TM Warthog
Kaned Dragon Posted April 2, 2018 Author Posted April 2, 2018 Well at least it sounds like it will eventually arrive. At least we can still do bombing strafes by pressing the button again and again. And we can do pairs, so at least we got the general overall basic functionality.
Nealius Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I hope this gets implemented relatively soon. The stutters on NTTR interfere with the release sequence if you try to drop 2-3 pairs in rapid succession. Pickle first pair, game stutters, pickle second pair, still during stutter, only 3 bombs come off and now you have an unstable aircraft.
Shrike88 Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Agree, this should be low hanging fruit as well as making the DMT bound by Axis controls that work, (Without the TPOD). Fingers crossed for next update. * Nice MEME buckeye, lol
TheKardinal Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 I was rather hopeful that the ACP improvements that were part of the update that dropped with the latest DCS update was going to fix this...I don’t think it has despite a few attempts by me to try and drop a sequence of snake eyes. Harrier is still my favourite module, and glad they fixed the Maverick firing bug.

I'm not seeing as many memory error messages pop up in the top right when I've got 3 x 82 on the inner pylons. Seems like it's remembering my armament set ups meow.
