Question on the word spawn

What exactly is spawn/spawning/ mi understood resplendent to be populating the same type of aircraft after being shot down once you return to base then Last night some made a comment using the word spawn in that my setup was correct or it would show me on the multiplayer server

That's respawning. Spawning (without "re"), is the process of you (or an object) appearing for the first time in the game world.

It has quite a few definitions really.

 

"spawn" can be used as a noun to define the location where something starts at. Commonly used in FPS games "dont camp spawn".

 

Or also a verb when you need more Overlords.

I'd say it is dependent on the view of the speaker also.

As a scripter i'd say it was any birth of a group using coalition.addGroup or any of it's subsequent uses at a higher level. As a player I'd say it related to any new entrant to the playing field.

Frogs might feel differently of course.

What's the difference? addGroup creates a new entrant on the playing field, doesn't it?

Do you mean “SEAD”? Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses, basically the counterattack and/or destruction of AAA* or SAMs**

 

*AAA = Anti Aircraft Artillery

 

**SAM = Surface to Air Missile

Check your install folder/mods/aicracft/anyModule/Doc folder for their manuals. Most of the aircraft have a section at the end called "Supplements" which usually will contain a list of acronyms and initialism commonly used with an aircraft.
