I'm sure this has been asked before...There's no way it hasn't, but will ED ever fix the lock logic for the A-10 maverick pointing cross? IRL it's supposed to flash when the lock is NOT valid and go steady when it is. In the sim, this logic is reversed.

I'm no coder, but it can't be that hard to fix, and I find it baffling that the A-10 has been released for almost a decade and this is still an issue. What's the scoop?

I agree with that.

From beta manual:

Pointing Cross. The pointing cross indicates the relative direction that the Maverick seeker is looking in reference to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. The pointing cross will flash when the seeker is not tracking a target. Once locked though, it will go steady.

From later manuals:

Pointing Cross. The pointing cross indicates the relative direction that the Maverick seeker is looking in reference to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. The pointing cross will flash when the seeker is tracking a target. If not locked though, it will be steady.

AGM-65 is my favorite weapon and beside flashing pointing cross as valid lock situation I think that is perfectly simulated in DCS A-10C.

Thank You in advance.

Very best regards,

I would really like to see this corrected with the updates coming to the A-10C. It's been reported for years and I can hardly imagine it's hard to reverse the blinking / solid cross.
