DCS World Korea

I am sure you have heard it thousands if not millions of times on these forums, but with the F-86F, MiG-15bis, and P-51D already available as player flyable addons, DCS World is screaming for a proper early 1950s Korea map with appropriate ground objects, supplemental AI aircraft, historical single player missions, and campaigns for the above mentioned aircraft.

 

 

Carrier operations with the F4U-4, AD-4, F9F, and F2H-2 as AI and maybe one of them as player flyable would be a huge bonus. For the record, I am a huge fan of the F2H-2. But the F4U-4 was a workhorse and could double as a late WW2 aircraft, so it would be the best choice. I know most people love the F9F. The Skyraider could be made into a dual era Korea/Vietnam aircraft, which would be great.

The F-86F is a really nice and fun plane to fly in the sim. It would be great to have an historical map for it.

While I would love a Korea map, I'd rather keep flying over the Caucasus and pretend it's Korea, so all that development could go into something more useful.

Of all the possible maps, Korea would be in the top 3 that would be the most popular. Even more than a Vietnam map just because of the wide diversity of eras and scenarios this map could offer. It would interest the Korean war era fans and modern day fans that would be interested to play out what if scenarios. Heck I would not even be surprised if it would draw interest from a few Countries Air Forces interested in becoming more familiar with the area because of the current political climate. :smilewink:

Also Korea can be nice battlefield for modern aircraft like F-16C/F/A-18C and Su-27/30 and MiG-29/23!
