I have to say that now, after the 2.5.1 the game uses a lot less of virtual ram. Pagefile usage is almost 90% less, from 25+gb to some 2gb now, with preload radius set to max. Great achievement in this field.

Yep this is why I don't think the problems with performance are memory related. When I watch the dcs.log file during startup, I see lots of timeout errors occurring, each one adding maybe 30s or more of wait time. I see errors like missing textures, missing json files, etc. This is on a completely fresh install.

Perhaps you could post your log file...I'm not seeing any sort of timeout errors.

Yes, it's great. I hope it stays like that. Huge multiplayer missions -> load longer, but are playable with 8 GB RAM.

I´m having a LOT of stuttering after the patch. Before, the game loaded about 5 minutes. Now it takes almost 10!

Me too. The way I fixed it on my PC, is by turning off the page-file in windows, and by reducing pre-load radius to minimum. Everything is buttery smooth now :-)
