Hi there, I don't know how to find a proper title and if it is a bug or not...

I am getting to many TAD objects.

Let's say my wingman has a net I'd assigned and crashed, I got a doubled Mark at the TAD, one is where he crashed and one is where he respawned. Shouldn't be there only one? The new one after respawn? This happens continuously, every time he crashes, I get a new Mark at the TAD.

Same with Zulu markpoints.

I read you get only the last z markpoint. Every time e.g. a Maverick hits, I get a z markpoint. So after 6 Mavericks I have 6 different z markpoints at the TAD.

is this intended?

Greetings, Wayan :)

Are you sure all those markpoints are Z? Positive you're not making additional markpoints via TMS Right Short? If you go to your CDU and change the left-hand knob to "MARK" are you seeing only Z in the HUD? If you hit DMS Up/Down are there A, B, C, etc in addition to Z?

Regarding Wingman: Are you saying you see multiple data network symbols for the same jet?

Yes, if he has net id group 1 own 2 I have 2 number 2 on tad after the crash, one steady where he crashed, one new where he respawned. This repeates with every crash.

Regarding the Z.

Yes I can see multiple little triangles marked Z at the TAD.

I will make a picture next time I go flying :)

2.5. open beta, haven't updated to 2.5.1 yet. But it happened since 2.2 as far as I remember.

Because he died and respawned with the same ID, creating a conflict.

Flip the DATA LINK switch off and back on.

Next time attach a screenshot

'Shadow'

Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days

I think crashed aircraft will indeed have their position reported at the crash site for a fairly long time; that might be intended behavior.

More than one Markpoint Zulu, that's definitely not the way it's supposed to be. ;)

A screenshot would be helpful indeed.

First you should disable all mods to make sure the problem doesn't come from one of them.

If that doesn't help, you could also try renaming your Saved Games\DCS directory (requires to enter login data and do the screen setup and input setup from scratch - but for a very quick test it should be okay).

If all that doesn't help, I'd try DCS Repair or even reinstall from scratch (reinstalling does not use up any activations).

And of course you should follow Raku's excellent FAQ in German language: Hilfe bei Problemen (Troubleshooting) + F.A.Q.
