By that I mean that the:

 

1. Huey and Mi-8 should be able to load/unload troops and cargo(Mi-8MTV) in-game without any user-made scripts

 

2. Troops/Cargo weight should be simulated.

 

3. Animation of troops embarking/disembarking and sitting inside the helos would be a bonus. Also if the Mi-8 is carrying any cargo pellets or crates, they should be visible too.

 

4. Mi-8 winch on left door be made functional

 

5. Ability to para-drop troops from the Mi-8. (I've seen this happen on local T.V. channels, in fact they were jumping out from the cargo doors)

 

That maybe a lot but after all it's a wish list.:)

good luck finding a 3rd party dev to animate and mate the ragdolls. good luck finding a processor or GPU that does what you want. Cargo is indeed simulated. Albeit like a brick added but its weight is simulated to your weight.

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Or, very very simply, let us have a lua function SetCargoWeight to transport helicopters. Boom, no need for ED to immediatly implement neat little features in an exact manner (because we all know it will take forever to be implemented and will go through 50 states of buggyness, exactly like what we experimented with troops cargo, I'm not even sure of the proper state of troops cargo currently, and its useability inside scripting engine), and users get the benefit of being able to realistically simulation cargo operations.

Which gives time for ED to do things properly. Best of both words

Troop transport did work very well last time in 1.5.4

Since then, lots of people ask for a fix which as far as I know never showed up.

If I missed something, I would be glad to hear it`s finally fixed in 2.5

This would be nice to have for sure

 

Currently when you board stuff, there is no extra weight added to the chopper

scripting is broken in that way sadly

I can't load infantry on UH1 anymore, the load line is missing on the radio menu. Has anyone found a solution?

Maybe the last update screw it?
