I've been flyin' it my self, to get a better understanding the avionics of the F-16 and of course the Dynamic Campaign.. But that's as far as I care to explore... The graphics are dated and the FM doesn't appear to give me a real sense of flying... I've heard that their working on it though??? hitman Posted March 31, 2007 Author Posted March 31, 2007 I "might" give it a shot some day if and when I find my Falcon4 cd and only if it will install on Vista. I had a hell of a time trying to get that thing installed on Xp...I can only imagine the issues Ill have with it on Vista.

hitman Posted March 31, 2007 Author Posted March 31, 2007 Hmmm...never had issues installing F4 on XP. I did...it probably has something to do with the age of the disk or the cd rom, but the last few times Ive tried installing it on my computer it wouldnt even get 15% finished before it would give me an error message. Even when I bought the thing...Only system I ever had no problems installing it on was winMe. That was when I was reformatting my hard drive once a week.
hitman Posted March 31, 2007 Author Posted March 31, 2007 I got it to work after I went out and purchased a $50 cd-rw...and the best part is there isnt a single scratch on the cd and its been used a handful of times since 98.

I looked at the -25t vids and noticed that they only play on 1.11, but silly me I upgraded from 1.02 straight to 1.12a...so none of the frog vids (and most of the other training vids) dont work with 1.12a, so Im gonna have to learn stuff on the fly.

Force_Feedback Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I did squad flying 2 something years ago, well I didn't like it, nobody would show up and such, and also we had this 'black sea' operation concept, where we would have a semi-dynamic campaign, but it was too tough for most pcs to handle, so it went down the drain fast.
