My desktop is looking kinda empty and i wanted to fill it up with some model airplanes. Does anyone have an suggestions on a particular brand. Personally i like fully built metal aircraft, so i don't have to put in hours and hours to make a crappy plane since my skills suck. Also, i wanted to buy small, yet realistic, model airplanes like 1:100 ratio, but i can't find some of my favorite aircraft like Su-27, F-22...etc. Excuse my childish questions.

You should look at Testors. They usually are sold at Hobby Lobby or the like.

How about 1:32? Here's a link.

Don't let the country of manufacture scare you either. I am currently building their 1:32 A-10A, and the quality and detail is excellent. The only thing that sucks on it is the cockpit, but Verlinden Productions makes some really good ones. Verlinden's cockpit is excellent, but the seat sucks. The kit seat is MUCH better, but if you want THE most accurate seats, have a look at Legend Productions, a Korean company. The detail is absolutely amazing.

It's not the country or manufacturer that scares me, it's the price! :)

I've heard good stuff about Trumpeter, though.

Well worth it, Arth. Its every bit as good as the Tamiya stuff, which costs the same. I think I paid about $120.00 for my A-10A. Some day I might actually continue building it too. :)

i know what you mean. you mean to finish something, but you never get arround to it... Hapens to me too... :music_whistling:
