Shimonu Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 I noticed when I had landed that my Max G reading said 16.4 and I just wanted to share just in case as it feels somewhat high. I did not do any crazy maneuvers to try and create high G. I did do plenty of maneuvers but never to the extent that I felt like I was maxing out the aircraft. There was never any tunnel vision or blacking out, don't think I can even recall any heavy breathing.
Esac_mirmidon Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 Maybe a hard landing making the plane shaking and a wrong reading? " You must think in russian.." Shimonu Posted June 1, 2018 Author Posted June 1, 2018 Maybe a hard landing making the plane shaking and a wrong reading? Sound like a VERY hard landing. It certainly wasn't a greaser but not harder than a regular Hornet controlled crash. :D
=OPS=Slider Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 I've reached 19.4G also after normal landing. Glide slope 3 degrees, E bracket perfectly lined up. And after a carrier landing which is a "tiny" bit harder I had 9.8G.
Shimonu Posted June 2, 2018 Author Posted June 2, 2018 Yep, it's the landing. I just got a 25.5 for an on-speed field landing...
