It certainly wasn't worth delaying the early access just for IFF, I have been managing just fine without it.

 

As Wags has mentioned it is high priority so we will see it in a future update.

But are we all sure that our Hornet has the IFF interrogate capability ?? Is any info posted about this ?

 

Yes, we are sure because they modelled one of the latest block with AN/APX-111 combined IFF transponder-interrogator, with the 5 antennas in front of the cockpit (aka bird slicers)

PS: Before AN/APX-111 I found reference to AN/APX-104 IFF interrogator.

"Basic IFF" does not mean "FC3 IFF", right?

 

FC3 IFF would be an absolute showstopper for such a hifi module...

I'm afraid that is what Matt means by basic IFF, aka FC3 IFF style and I'm OK with it.
