[UNABLE TO REPRODUCE] Cycle battery between fire tests (A / B) not working

IIRC after the first fire test is complete, cycling the battery (off, on) should reset the fire test and let you skip the 7 seconds delay.

At the moment I can't get this to work properly. I can see the caution lights but hear no audio when I start the second test (the one after the battery reset).

Track included.

If you're willing to actually run both Test A and B, can't you stick with realism and wait 7 secs? I wait 10, if I bother running the tests at all (usually once per flight session, for good measure).

There's a clock on the IFEI - convenient...

Well... In real life, if you cycle the battery it resets the system, which lets you run the second test without waiting. This is how the plane works, and this was also demonstrated by Wags in his start-up video. Also mentioned in NATOPS.

If Wags mentioned it (and did cycle the battery) in his start-up video it means it should work in game.

I'm unable to replay the track file right now. How long are you waiting between cycling the battery off and on? You should wait a couple of seconds to make sure the system is completely de-energized.

Take your router as an example. Instructions often tell you to wait at least 10 seconds between turning the power off and back on again.

I wait about 1-2 seconds between battery cycles and it works fine for me, although I sometimes get an "engine right fire" announcement instead of a "engine fire right."

This. Wait a second or two between cycling the battery and running second test.
