Hi everyone !

I'm Nir from Israel. "28 YEARS OLD AVIATION FANATIC KID" (My wife calls me that)

Anyway, finnaly got into the forum after using LOMAC FC for a decent while...

I had the chance to see Mnemonic's ---GREAT!!!--- LOVP and currently using it as a standard...

Great Job on this one buddy !!!!

Its nice, elegant and most of all very - practical-.

PRACTICAL !

thats what i'm talking about.

I have the microsoft SWII stick for about 4 years by now and I'm had it with this little tiny throttle !!!!

So.... I made one ! WOOOO HOOOO ! I hardly had electronical skills at the time and while building it I got myself Involved with lots of Circuits schems and stuff and it really turned out to be usefull (no only) with the projects I made for my hobby...

Here's the last of 4 developed projects made of some electronics and materials you can get in your local hardware store...

thr2ndviewex0.jpg

It's a throttle with 24 buttons and total of six axes.(may be used as you like...)

thrinsideig5.jpg

Her's the gut's of it ... (gut's !? did I spelled it right??? my English need furnishing I know .... please forgive me for that one...)

todayscocpitoj7.jpg

And this is how I fly today...(my table usually cleaner than that. Its all because of just finishin it I SWARE !!!:D Add to the following TRackIR4PRO and another screen with LOVP and you get the picture....

I'll get more recent pictures, find the old one's of the former projects and upload them in here for you to see how much you can do with almost nothing...

Just use the right hand's (pilot's hand are best there are...) and have the right community to share info with (if youre reading ,your'e probably in the right place...:smartass: ) and let you'r imagination and creativity work....

Hopefully,we could all share out knoledge and creativity to enhance out CRAZY hobby experience.

BTW

This throttle may not be good looking and high fidelity brand .

Yet,it delivers high accuracy, its very PRACTICAL and it's damn deadly at the right hands...(I'm still learning how to get bogies 6...)

Based on the circuit you can make a stick, a throttle and anything you might want.

I'll expand about it later.

C'ya pepole around...

Cool!

DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

That's a nice way to turn a regular stick into HOTAS. Now you can even use the small throtle for another function!

Yep... I'm and Nir planning to create some hardware support for LOVP!

At first, after a little tuning of VP code, I plan to create support of lights (autopilot lights, trimmer lights, warning lights).

Then, I'l try to output them into serial port.

Nir, will try to create simple and cheap device with lights, so anyone can reproduce it! :)

yeah nice job..i know how he feels i have 3 MS precision2's and i love the feel of the stick, think its one of the best especially for formation..so i got myself a x36 off ebay for 12$ a while back and use the throttle off of that-talk about a pain in the a@@ in making a profile..

Hi Maxim .

First,

Iv'e been thinking about it and I'm stuck in picking up the global idea of chossing on of the options:

1. Simple, cheap and easy to make output to digital leds with no versatility.

2. Relatively complexed ,not that cheap, versatile (could be customized later using software) output to a monochromatic LCD with backlight.

I have a couple of ideas in mind but I must have this choice with you and the community. so help me out here. its for all of us....

(projects will be made of cummon parts and you could make them with very basic skills)

Second,

Thanks for cheering me up on the projects. I'm busy at TONS OF WORK lately and that whats fuels me further...

Anyway,I have a page at LYCOS which have some pic's at.(watch out from annoying pop-ups)

Notice above the thumbnails is 3 pages of pics. it's so amall pepole misses it...

here it is:

Till next time....
