Dave73 Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I newer to dcs and very new to vr. What do you vr guys do to be able to use the screens in the aircraft? Like the f18... I cant read the map screen and the 2 mfd screens. Just curious as to what you all do? Thanks

dburne Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Yep assign both VR Zoom and VR Re-center to buttons on your stick. They are in the UI layer( down toward the bottom) of the controller menu. Aries144 Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I find I have to use zoom to read the text on the moving map, but I can usually read the other DDIs by leaning in a little.
Rudel_chw Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I've setup snapviews for the 2 DDI, the MFCD and the UFC ... they work well on VR and mapped to a Hat on my Hotas. BlacleyCole Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Under the Uighur setup drop down box in the controls page the bottom of the list is the ui setup items the two you should map are free recenter and vr zoom I got tired of holding the front zoom when I had it mapped to a push button so I mapped it to a toggle switch instead.
