Hard for me to explain but here a video of the problem

I had this problem a few months ago when I was testing DSR in nvidia control panel,

what is the resolution you have se in dcs settings?

I think you have to tick the option "graphic user interface scale" (or Something like that) in DCS settings : it's made for 4K to adapt texts size maybe it's the solution to your issue ?

This has nothing to do with text size. Clearly, there is a 3rd effect on a 2d map, the layer with MGRS and City names aren't on the same altitude/zoom level as the map itself.

Try disabling SSAA. I think it is related to this setting.
