erniedaoage Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Hi, i was flying a lot on the Burning Skies server lately and suddenly i noticed that my cockpit interior around the metal frame in front keeps sort of flickering like the sunlight reflections would change a lot on the frame even in level flight without turning. I have not tested it with other aircraft for now, but it seems that the ground reflects on the inside of the metal frame in the front. First i thought its the lightning bug with the exterior lights inside the cockpit but i didn't even turn them on. Does anybody else have this issue with the K4 on normandy? I will try to test it with other aircraft and maps too, just to see if it happens anywhere else. Cheers! voodooman Posted July 25, 2018 Posted July 25, 2018 cockpit discolights presented to you by deferred shading... if that's what i think you mean. if you fly over land you have green tint in the cockpit, if over beaches, it's tan (light brown) and when you pass over water it makes the tint blue?
erniedaoage Posted July 27, 2018 Author Posted July 27, 2018 Thank you voodooman seems like its the disco lightning issue. ac5 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 And moreover, the fluorescent lights of the instruments of the BF-109 are too dark, not nearly as bright as those of the FW-190, which seems OK to me. ac5 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Have you turned them all the way up? Of course, both of them.... Just have a look at the difference between the BF-1'9 and the FW-190. There are at least twice as bright. erniedaoage Posted July 29, 2018 Author Posted July 29, 2018 Haven't noticed that but i have to admit that i haven't flown a single mission in such dark conditions that i would have needed the instruments lights. I think it will take a couple more months till everything is balanced with the new deferred shading and all other modules get updated with the new features. ED Team NineLine Posted August 10, 2018 ED Team Posted August 10, 2018 The 109 cockpit hasn't been redone for deferred shading yet, the best way to tell is there are no raindrops on the glass. I am sure its queued up to be done though. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
