Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for some help please :-)

I am looking for the airfield codes to punch into the Viggen 6 digit nav computer. I get that each airfield code starts '90' but I am unable to work out/find where to get the following two airfield identifier numbers. I know for example that Beslan is '9021' and Mozdok '9017'. But where would I get these two digits from?

Thanks very much in advance and I know i'm thick as sh*t!!! lol

All the very best

Isn't it in the kneeboard?

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Thanks Guys - didn't look there - told you I was thick as sh*t lol. I was looking in the manual for a reference list, then looking in my maps folders for some sort of list ...... and so on. Thanks for the responses - much appreciated :-)

just take a look to your kneeboard (usually its key "k"), and there navigate through the pages with "[" and "]" (english keyboard), or "ü" and "+" (german keyboard) to find the page with airport codes and all frequencies for communication. See this picture here, it is taken out of DCS version 1.5.8, thus some codes might have changed.

Borrowing the thread, are there any airport codes for Persian Gulf? I'm making my own physical checklist (@ work right now so I can't check in game) and I want all the codes on the same printout as the Caucasus codes.

I googled but can't find the PG codes.

Can't help with codes for Persian Gulf I very rarely fly in it at the moment

I found Heatblur's kneeboard a bit cluttered so to make things more readable on a kneeboard I made a list for radios and TILS

I've attached it anyway if it helps

They should be in the kneeboard instead of the Caucasus codes when you fly on the PG map.

Yeah I suppose. Just thought I would get them while I was still at work :)

Hi TOViper

Did you download this page from the AJS37 Kneeboard or is it just a screen capture? If you downloaded it, where did you find it?

Thanks

Hey Nialfb, that was 6 years ago :lookaround: but I think it must have been a screenshot of the normal kneeboard shown within the game. It is generated after spawning an aircraft.

It's somewhere in pages 3, 4, or 5 of the kneeboard.  If there are more bases in the map than can fit on the page, you can scroll between pages using RShift + PageUp/PageDown.  The font is different now compared to the one in TOViper's post.

Thanks TOViper, I suspected as much.

I have extracted the pages using screen captures. If anyone needs them, I have attached them here as PDF files. I just created an AJS37 Kneeboard in Saved Games so I can access them using OpenKneeboard in VR.
