And it has dual R-77 mounts between the engines, nice (LOPE meint h4x)

As a result the su-35 monster can carry 12 R77’s (RVV-AE) :gun_smilie:

And it still has a 'crappy' IRST system with a 60 degree gimbal limit, the new (really new, not upgraded) one of the mig-35 has a 90 degree gimbal limit. A nice plane, too bad the engine development is lagging even more behind today. Let's hope Al-41s successor will be competative. I mean the engines are good for their time, but it seems like the al-31 series has reached its maximum potential.

You guys crack me up. You "hope it gets better" but then those planes are to be sold to potentialy dangerous nations. :D

We are already looking at Algeria with raised eyebrows. I dont want it to be any better than it is right now.

I don't give a damn who makes or buys the plane, if the thing looks nice, flies well and does that cheap then it's a good thing, no matter who made it. As long as they won't bother me, they can blow each other up several dozen times, and I don't care who starts, be it the US, Malawi or Lichtenstein, just as long as they kill/rape (no nukes, fall-out reaches everywhere)/blow-up/behead eachother, I don't give a flying nut who is good or evil. If people can't solve issues in a normal way, then they deserve to die.

That plane looks nice, but I like it more sans canopy :P

When selling those planes to other nations, there should be a hidden disable switch programmed in with the plane's software. Then the nation who sold the plane can fly in the vicinity, send out the disable command and shut the plane off in mid flight. :D

Believe it or not, this has actually happened with a certain soviet-built SA missiles system, where there was such a hidden remote command blocking-system. There were countries using soviet equipment the soviets just didn't trusted...

I can't give the link for the info, but trust me, I know from a very reliable source ;)
