I can’t find the new oil platforms & natural gas platform in the mission editor. Does anyone know where they are? I see the old oil platform but it’s the old model. I am on beta version.

Under static objects and heliports along with the FARPS ????

You can rearm and refuel without the usual vehicles having to be present :thumbup:

 

 

SUNTSAG, Do you know if this means that we can now make custom FARPS or is this still hard coded? I have made some helipads and I really like to be able to refuel / rearm on them... not sure where to look for the code of the new oil and gas platforms though... any idea?

It should be possible but I cannot find your mod to download and test the theory I have. If I am correct then it will break the integrity check and have to be loaded via JSGME.

 

Its's a pain but maybe ED will give us modders a break at some stage and allow these things to happen without giving us IC issues. Similar to the saved games facility we have now but for coremods.

Any additional modded unit can go into savedgames/mods without causing integrity check issues. It will be a issue for hosting/publishing missions utilizing the assets as anyone who wants to join a server/play the mission with those assets in it would need to have the mod installed.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

Hi Grimes,

 

The thing is, it seems the rearm and refuel functions are hard coded to at this moment only the 2 FARP versions, and the oil- and gas platforms. I have added my custom made helipads to the helipads category, I noticed the gas and oil platforms had a connector called Pad_01 so I added that to my models as well. In the mission editor my models show up, correct preview and all, but when I hit the fly button, dcs switches my models with the big FARP instead. :(
