BuzzU Posted November 22, 2018 Posted November 22, 2018 Cmon, read the whole thread. Especially, the one above yours Buzz
eaglecash867 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Plenty of mountains in the Nellis area, BuzzU. I'm in Colorado too. The places I go around here in the mountains look like deserts. Not because of a lack of water, but a lack of oxygen. Just think of the Nellis area as Colorado above timberline. ;) EVGA Z690 Classified, Intel i9 12900KS Alder Lake processor, MSI MAG Core Liquid 360R V2 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler, G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 64GB DDR5 6400 memory, EVGA RTX3090 FTW3 Ultra 24GB video card, Samsung 980PRO 1TB M2.2280 SSD for Windows 10 64-bit OS, Samsung 980PRO 2TB M2.2280 SSD for program files, LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray burner. Eviscerador Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I haven't read the OP, but I don't need to. My answer to "should I buy the Hog?" is and will always be: YES [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Yurgon Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 should I buy the A10? Yes. You pretty much can't go wrong with the A-10C, unless your sole interest is poking holes into the sky in airliners, or PVP airquaking. You could do both in the A-10C, but neither is a particular strength of the beloved Warthog... :D
Frag Posted November 23, 2018 Author Posted November 23, 2018 Wow I think the A-10 crowd is the strongest one on DCS. I actually always loved the A-10 since the Lock-On day ... Wanted to make sure that the plane was not a complete mess since it is quite an old one. It seems not from what I read here. I finally ordered it + Neva + Dubai map and I am now checking out the campaign. I also took the the first A-10C Basic Flight Training Campaign I am pretty sure I will be busy for a while. One of the issue I have with my life is that DCS has too many nice aircraft to fly ... and my days are too short.
Yurgon Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I am pretty sure I will be busy for a while. That part is pretty much guaranteed. :smartass: One of the issue I have with my life is that DCS has too many nice aircraft to fly ... and my days are too short. I believe we all share this particular problem. ;) I've purchased most DCS modules, flown them for a short while, and then returned to my favorites, of which the A-10C has been the number 1 for many years.
