Hi all, I'm slowly but surely learning the A10C Thunderbolt II "Hawg" and would very much like to fly with others who are either slightly or significantly more experienced than I am. Or for that matter are just starting out themselves and want to rage against the machine in company :lol:

 

I'm based in the UK and usually fly in the evenings except on Sundays where I would hope to be flying as much as possible before the insanity of my work week strikes again. My setup and circumstances are in my signature.

 

I have SRS, Teamspeak 3 and Discord setup (as well as VA and Vaicom) so comms shouldn't be an issue. If you're interested please either reply to the topic or private message me.

I'd be happy to accompany you in some online shenanigans, I'm new to the Hawk myself but have been "around" DCS for some years, I'm on a metered connection so would not host a server, there are plenty out there though or you could host yourself. I'm based in Germany so only one hour difference and also fly evenings when I can. PM me and we can set something up.

As an aside, VEAO have just gone bust and ceased trading, no more updates for the Hawk I suspect, a bit of a waste of money IMHO

Hi Phil (and all).

I'm new to DCS, having started flying about a month ago. I immediately bought FC3 and am currently learning in the F15. However, I have purchased a few modules in the current sale (A10C, Nevada and a few campaigns) on behalf of Santa :).

I haven't ventured in to multiplayer yet but would certainly like to join a small group that are happy flying with a complete beginner!

Might be fun trying CAP missions to your CAS/DEAD whilst I await A10 delivery.

If that works for you, let me know (got a mic issue to resolve/replace first).
