Phil73805 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 (edited) Hi all, I'm slowly but surely learning the A10C Thunderbolt II "Hawg" and would very much like to fly with others who are either slightly or significantly more experienced than I am. Or for that matter are just starting out themselves and want to rage against the machine in company  I'm based in the UK and usually fly in the evenings except on Sundays where I would hope to be flying as much as possible before the insanity of my work week strikes again. My setup and circumstances are in my signature. I have SRS, Teamspeak 3 and Discord setup (as well as VA and Vaicom) so comms shouldn't be an issue. If you're interested please either reply to the topic or private message me. Thanks :) Edited November 27, 2018 by Phil73805 Clarity Windows 10 64bit, Intel Core i5 8600K CPU @ 3.6GHz, 32GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. 500GB SSD (Exclusively for DCS World), Thrustmaster Warthog, Logitech G Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals. Yeti42 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 Hi Phil, I'd be happy to accompany you in some online shenanigans, I'm new to the Hawk myself but have been "around" DCS for some years, I'm on a metered connection so would not host a server, there are plenty out there though or you could host yourself. I'm based in Germany so only one hour difference and also fly evenings when I can. PM me and we can set something up. Yeti42 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 As an aside, VEAO have just gone bust and ceased trading, no more updates for the Hawk I suspect, a bit of a waste of money IMHO Windows 10 64 bit | Intel i5-9600k OC 5 Ghz | RTX 2080 |VENGEANCE® LPX 32GB DDR 4 OC 3200 Hotas Warthog | Logitech G Flight Rudder Pedals | Track IR 4

TheDoctorB Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I too am learning the Hawg. I fly some week nights and Sunday evenings, UK based.
JJester Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Hi Phil (and all). I'm new to DCS, having started flying about a month ago. I immediately bought FC3 and am currently learning in the F15. However, I have purchased a few modules in the current sale (A10C, Nevada and a few campaigns) on behalf of Santa :). I haven't ventured in to multiplayer yet but would certainly like to join a small group that are happy flying with a complete beginner! Might be fun trying CAP missions to your CAS/DEAD whilst I await A10 delivery. If that works for you, let me know (got a mic issue to resolve/replace first). UK Based and generally on in the evening.
