I have steamvr beta and wmr beta, also I installed advanced vr settings but cannot see anyway to open the menu you are showing in the screenshot

Yeah these should be the same. Some people prefer the in game PD as it may be smoother.

 

 

 

No its different...PD measures the diagonal while SS is in resolution percentage (pd 1.5 = ss 225% iirc anyway much higher)

Right click steam VR thats running once you start up DCs then go to settings.

Tried it but the only effect was to disable the motionvector...i think the suggested edit ("forceHalfRateWithReprojectionMode" : "motionvector",) is a sintax error.

No I don’t want always on as in il2 box i can get consistently 90fps.

I was trying to understand how the poster was getting a 50% improvement in fps

by comparison my graphics card/CPU is pretty low end … I suspect that is why it looked different to me in terms of perf; if you look at the spec of what this command does it essentially renders every other frame(not great)
