To all concerned with the Thrustmaster F-15 optional Joystick. I have been in contact with Thrustmaster is seem that the Joystock we all have new Waiting for is a no go . I get the old oh we are do test for reliability test of this product. This means there is no intention there going to release this product at time soon or If they do at all. It seems there more concern with racing protect than the flight ones.

We also should write the Thrustmaster sale support and show them are support in this product and how popular it could be if they bought to market.

Well that is from me

Have fun flying and how to flying with you soon

Gary

This is why I built my own out of an old Suncom F-15 stick. With the help of forum member debolestis.

It's still in the Futzing stages since I don't have any of the modules that use it and too many other projects (plus apparently they expect you to work every day at work.)

It's using ALPS RKJXL100401V for the 3 directionals the front two in debolestis' ALPS enclosures backed by their Breakout boards.

The third is fabricobbled into the grip with epoxy putty and is un attractive but hidden.

Buttons are replaced with Otto P1-12121

The little green one was just something I had banging around either an otto or carling.

Shift Regester is three 4021BEs partially open wired and partially on debolestis shift register boards but it's crowded in there thanks to how suncom engineered the trigger. (the otto 2 stage trigger is $100 so no.)

Here's the post where the shift register is discussed as well as the fundamentals of the lower connection.

Then it goes through Debolestis tail piece adapter wearing a lock collar with a 5 way Micro DIN connector.

It works perfect on the busted warthog base I have, although I use it on my modified Sidewinder 2 FFB stick with an MMJoy2 Arduino secreted away in it to interface with the stick as a button box. (shown here with Warthog grip the busted base came with.)

As you can see, another thing partially finished and messy. Beware project overload!

Hello,

Made the mod with debolestis PCB and tailpiece.

Working like charm, next topic will be to replace the stock switch for the Auto Acquisition Switch but I don't know what to do yet.
