Hello everyone,

I'm looking to buy a set of rudder pedals (as well a HOTAS setup) for DCS F-18 and the TFRP pedals caught my eye. They seem to be good and have mostly good reviews on Amazon but what's the opinion of you guys? Should I spend the $70 on these pedals or try to look into something else?

I use them, they are pretty comfortable and accurate.

The first set of TFRP pedals i bought lasted only about 3 months, after that i had some bad spikes from the potentiometer, magnetic sensor or whatever they use. Other users had the same experience and the replacements they received didn't have this problem, so maybe they had some bad production batches in the beginning.

I bought a second set a couple of months ago as a temporary solution until i save the money for TPR, and it seems to be going well, no signs of wear on the sensor so far (fingers crossed).

You will need to grease the rails on the TFRP pedals with Nyogel or other damping grease and maybe loose the screws a little, otherwise you may experience stiction problems.
