escaner Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 When I designate the current waypoint as target and select the IR Maverick I am unable to slew it. I can switch its seeker between boresight and the waypoint with the cage/uncage control, but cannot slew it in any of the two modes. When the waypoint is not designated as my target, it slews fine when uncaged. Am I doing something wrong? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Once you do that you can slew the mav again. TJI wish, maybe later down the road after they've added more features a better method will manifest itself. Here's hoping you'll be able to slave the TGP/ATFLIR pod to a waypoint and have all mavs slave with it like we have in the A-10C. (at some point after it comes out.). Anyone have any idea about this? Darcwaynard Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 On second thought of you left your HSI up on the ampcd you could map pushbutton 14 to your hotas and re designate each time that way instead. pimp Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 I think they're talking about how in the A-10 you can slew to a SPI. I'm wanting this functionality also. Maybe when a T-Pod is implemented we'll be able to do it. i9 14900k @5.6GHz NZXT Kraken |Asus ROG Strix Z790 A-Gaming | Samsung NVMe m.2 990 Pro 2TB | 64GB DDR5 6400MHz EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra | PiMAX CRYSTAL LIGHT | HOTAS Warthog | Saitek Flight Pedals

This is a problem since you only get the TTMR and IN RANGE details when a TGT is designated. This means you lose IN RNG when you actually lock a target, which is madness, I’m sure it’s not how the real thing works.
