After two fights im always out of fuel :)

 

Do i need to refuel at tanker?

Yes you can!

 

If you check the ACO.pdf or the in game kneeboards there are tanker tracks north, west and south west of the engagement area.

 

It's usually easy to pick them up on radar.

 

I can't recall if AWACs will give you a heading or not.

Save the fuel (high alt, no burner) to have at least 12.0 at India. With the experience you'll learn to get the enemy more quickly. I only had that problem in BFM01 - 3 fights. You are allowed to divert to Creech AFB. AAR is not yet an option for me ;)

By mision 3 you mean "BFM01 1 vs 1 GO vs F-15C" ? Or BFM03 ... ?

 

What does "Hard Deck 100" ? 1.000ft Above Ground Level ?

I failed the 3rd encounter because of that, but didn't react at that moment and check my altitude

Wow, 100 feet is almost crasing, I didn't realize I was so low ... :-O

 

BTW, The F-15C is supussed to use Flaps when dogfighting ? The only DF I have winned till the momment was against the F-14A, and I used flaps.

If you don't retract the flaps below 250 KIAS they will retract automatically and lower back auto if slower then 250 KIAS. While they are helpful during landing I don't think they would help you much during the turning fight. They cause drag a lot!
