I am pretty sure you mean as far as flight model...

Oh, boy, I meant that feel of flying and impressions only:pilotfly:

I know what is what and having tested all FC3, F/A-18C, TF-51D and Su-25T aircraft I feel most connected in the last one.

The difference is night and day as far as flying goes.

I hope you mean the feeling because the flight models are actually of similar fidelity.

Yes, I thought about all of your suggestions. Even though I thought that I needed a "high fidelity" module, I realized towards the end, that was just a pride thing. What I really wanted was something cheap and easy to learn to dogfight in with copious content / instruction released. I did get the Eagle, and this could be the best $12 I ever spent. I'm going to buy the Nevada test map next and the BFM mission pack later today. This was my perfect solution--thanks for helping me make it.

My advice. Give multiplayer a try. I realize it's not for everyone, but it's definitely the best way to improve your BFM, tactics, comms, SA, whatever.

There are some good solid servers always available to play on, and the community is mostly friendly and free of toxicity. It's so much fun even if you lone-wolf it most of the time (like me). Personally Im quite averse to the campaigns in DCS. They feel more like an afterthought (apart from Baltic Dragon's campaigns, they are really cool). Also sometimes the missions take upwards of an hour to complete, and can get frustrating and buggy and having to redo them makes me just want to quit playing.

Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.

Su-25T has PFM ? I though the Su-25, Su-25T and A-10A didn't have it yet

Well, they are AFM/AFM+

I have mixed feelings on that. Yes, it forces you to learn quickly as every encounter is different but it takes a lot more than just join the server to have fun. Unless you fly with your buddies' virtual squadron you won't get even close to what DLC campaigns can offer to you.

Yeah this is what I thought. So yes if you are talking about the flying feel than yes, personally I think it is done better than the SU-25T. But you know, taste are in nature ... so not everyone have to agree with this. It is kind of personal preferences.

I get back to F-5 once in a while, and never regret I payed for it. The analog instrumentation is what I miss in the Hornet big time (thanks God A-10C has it all, and future coming F-16C does as well). Tiger is somewhat more challenging to fly/land (incl. carrier landing), and I like that aspect too. Easy flying planes don;t deliver as much satisfaction to me by some reason.

Actually bombing with the F5 is SO rewarding since there are mostly no electronic help. When you finally get a hand of it and get really dangerous with dumb iron bomb ... NOTHING IS MORE REWARDING.

And actually everything you learn there can be transferred to other plane, even though they will offer electronic help.
