Mission 13 script not firing

I didn't check your track, but from my memory, I only had this problem when I wasn't on the correct frequency with Uzi 1-1.

 

 

Are you sure you were? (unless you have Easy Comms ON of course)

 

 

Or if - due to task saturation - I missed notifying Uzi about the situation (proceed or abort).

Hi baltic_dragon. First of all thanks for the great campaign!

 

I do have problems with triggers in Mission 13 in recent OB (2.5.6.45915). I tried it several times, message from Overlord was played very late for me - only when I was destroying anti-air assets at waypoint Papa and after most of the enemy's AAA around waypoint Uniform had been destroyed. The message ends with confirmation from Overlord that T-72 is a valid secondary target. Then nothing happens (no F10 menu etc). I flew over all waypoints (including Whiskey), sent wingmans to their waiting points (Sierra, Echo) as fragged. I even tried to fly lower between WP1 -WP2 - WP3 after reading this thread with no effect. All visible enemy units (including manpads, excluding other infantry) at waypoints Uniform and Papa were destroyed. Had to land at Kobuleti eventually to proceed. I have trackfile (which is about 30mb, so I can't attach it here, moreover I'm not sure it matches), mission debrief and tacview file.

 

Hey! I suspect some user error, as I had two people reporting that after last update they were able to finish the mission without any problem (I squashed some previous bugs introduced with 2.5.6). Please try again paying attention to all pop-up messages and frequencies and let me know!

I tried this mission several times and switched to Uzi frequency both right after takeoff from Kutasi and later during these attempts. But anyway, shouldn't I have got an update from Overlord first before contacting Uzi?

 

UPDATE: I did switch to Uzi freq before reaching WP2 during my last attempt - I've just checked it replaying the track (see attached screenshot).

Hey! I suspect some user error, as I had two people reporting that after last update they were able to finish the mission without any problem (I squashed some previous bugs introduced with 2.5.6). Please try again paying attention to all pop-up messages and frequencies and let me know!

Looks like my problem was that I started climbing too early before reaching WP1 (3000 ft). When I replayed it and reached WP1 at designated altitude I was able to communicate with Overlord, Uzi etc afterwards.
