F-14B Fuel and motor stop?

The Motor stop at 00300 Fuel quantity, why is not at 00000 ?

The Tomcat has around 300~370lbs of captive fuel that can't be used.

IIRC the startup check list has "Wing Fuel Transfer" turned OFF (for takeoff ?), obviously it needs turning back to Auto after - pretty sure it was responsible for one of my dead stick landings :lol:

Yeah learend that the hard way, landed with 400lbs left with a buddy and ran out of fuel on the taxiway.

There is no way to use this 300lbs, with the fuel systems or by doing some rolling and the end of fuel main tank, for absorb this 300lbs or fuel ??
