Rhinozherous Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I remember having read that our Harrier will get JDAMs any time... Are they still planed? Thank you! i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020
Barbarossa Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 I hope so... My Specs: Win 11 64bit, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D @ 4,2GHz, 64 GB, Radeon RX7900 XTX, 500GB + 2000GB SSD
baltic_dragon Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 They are being added to the Hornet now - so my guess as soon as it is done, Harrier will probably get them too. viper2097 Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 JDAMs are already in the game with the A10c, so why should this have to do anything with the Hornet? Steam user - Youtube I am for quality over quantity in DCS modules
drPhibes Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Because ED are upgrading the system modelling for the JDAM quite a bit compared to what is currently present in the A-10C. Implementing a comparably sub-standard version from the A-10C and then changing it, potentially re-doing large parts of the avionics modelling, when the improved version is ready makes little sense.
Rhinozherous Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 Razbam has stated that they will now finish the Harrier and the Hornet has its initial JDAM release today... I think our Harrier is getting along now, maybe with JDAMs i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020
