Ground Power and Air Cart 3D Models?

Does anyone know if HB plans on modeling the ground power unit and air-cart, chalks, ladder, or builtin foot ladders and remove before flight tapes? If not it would be cool and im kinda surprised on such a detailed aircraft they are not there already.

I was just wondering about this the other day. It’s a shame we don’t have a simplified model of a GPU and start cart for all DCS aircraft. Would also be nice if the carts actually had the appropriate diesel sounds too.

Here’s a better air cart. The other one was a cooling cart.

 

 

This one may be a combo. It looks like there is both power cord and HP hose.

It would be really cool to have something like this on the F14. :)

 

 

if you want do a mod. Maybe you could also use the chokes as a trigger for adding remove-before-flight badges and ladders and ground crew standing around. :D

As mentioned, the CC101 has one that is visible when you have requested ground power. I’m very much hoping that the carriers will include them.

Modelling square boxes with wheels - tricky stuff. Can see why this was pushed back in the priorities list...:music_whistling:

On a serious note, having boxes hooked up outside the cockpit would probably help me to not taxi off with everything still attached...and my crew chief yelling "Hey what are you doing" :doh:

Accurate models are probably coming with the Forrestal and the rest of the deck crew/tractors/etc.

 

MD-3A for towing/air supply and an NC-2A for the power.

I just want it to add the immersion in missions. If I’m operating a jet that requires external sources to start and come to life. I want to see them there and hear them working.
