I know sure, given the mid 90s era F14B it would be at this point equipped with AIm7M's but its already backwards compatible with earlier missiles like the Aim9L instead of M or the Aim54A over the C. I would like to see the Aim7F included. As there are other aircraft that have the option for earlier generation radar guided missiles.

So to sum up the main question, will Heatblur for the F14B include earlier Aim7F or is that only something the F14A will get?

I'm also curious if we'll ever see the AIM-7P which became operational in the early 90s.

i for the life of me cant find anything on the MH, maybe its the different nomenclature for the P?

Hornet does get Aim7MH. But yeah that could also be ported over.

It's usually referred to the AIM-7M H-build in documentation, not that there's a lot of it publicly available. The AIM-7Ps are a separate, distinct thing.

The USAF would like to

upgrade some 5,000 AIM-7 Sparrow missiles but has

yet to receive congressional approval. The service has

been attempting to convince Congress to allow the

reprogramming of allocated funds. This funding would

be spent on improving Sparrow F-1 software with

so-called H-build software. The H-build software

would provide the Sparrow with avionics and software

enhancements to improve communications between the

software and missile, upgrade electronic countermeasures (ECM) resistance, and improve intercept

geometry and trajectory.

(Note: F-1 refers to the AIM-7M software version, not the AIM-7F)

I really don't understand why Heatblur didn't implement the F? What's the reason behind this decision?

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

It's interesting that the Hornet can use not only the AIM-7F but also the Echo in DCS. Granted, the AIM-7E is incredibly fickle when it comes to acquiring a missile lock.
