If you go to the 1:41 mark on this trailer you will see two f-4s but they have the blue line like they forgot to disable all labels. I don’t know I could be crazy but thought I would mention and see what you guys thought. Videos

I just had a quick look. I think it was a blue "afterburner/exhaust" effect. I didn't think it was a label. I'd say GCI though.

eh? i'm not seeing any blue lines, at 1:42 they're showing some blue afterburners.

if they used dcs they must have done a hell of a lot of work to make it look like that so im banking on 'no'

Around 2-3 years back, a tv channel advertising for the actual Blue Angels at a local event used a small clip of the DCS Virtual Blue Angels in their montage. You couldn't hardly tell the difference. Wish I could find it

Blue is when the fuel duped into exhaust nozzle burns in harmony with the available air, meaning the fuel injection is steady. When you see orange it means the fuel injected into the exhaust is larger than the volume of air within and hence fuel does not burn completely and creates soot that burns in yellow-orange colours. Blue means the fuel-air balance is the best and also it means the best afterburner efficiency I believe.

And no, I don't see a resemblance to DCS in this movie trailer.
