razo+r Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 The waves are depending on the POV around an object. So if you place your POV low over the water next to a ship, DCS creates waves all around the shape of it. In example, waves are getting created around the antenna X km behind the ship.
razo+r Posted July 7, 2019 Author Posted July 7, 2019 This also applies to airplanes of course (look around the nose)
Mustang Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 I've witnessed the same thing while flying low over the sea in the Mi-8, along the edges of the canopy frame the waves warp in shape.
razo+r Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 At least a "reported" mark would be adequate, no?
razo+r Posted October 18, 2019 Author Posted October 18, 2019 This bug can also be reproduced by using the latest OB. You can also see this in the cockpit if you fly enough.
Flappie Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 (edited) ! Checking your track now. Edited June 20, 2022 by Flappie ---
Flappie Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 I cannot reproduce this in current OB using your track. I took control of it to try several POV, but no joy. But I'm seeing very high waves on the shore, that's for sure. ---

When it was on medium, you can see the effect, if the water is on high, this effect does not appear anymore. 1
