He-Lord Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 Hi! I moved my DCS Open Beta folder to other drive. It launches normally, but I cannot get automatic updates anymore. Any idea what I should do? Thanks!
26-J39 Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 You can always update by going to the DCS World OpenBeta\Bin directory. Open command prompt and run.. DCS_updater update

Probably the windows shortcut that you are using, points to dcs.exe ... edit it so that it points to dcs_updater.exe .. this way dcs will first check for updates and then start the sim. If you are comfortable using regedit, you may want to edit • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta>Path to reflect Open Beta's new location. Note: the registry holds separate paths for Release and OpenBeta versions. Robert31178 Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Or if you have Windows 10 you can pull it up in the "all apps" menu, click Eagle Dynamics, one of the .exe's there is an updater.
