Controls - not able to bind Thrustmaster T.16000 buttons to both LANTIRN AND radar.

So, I tried the LANTIRN recently, then flew A2A again, just to realize that my controls for "radar azimuth left", "right" and "center radar azimuth" got overwritten by LANTIRN controls that I had set up, instead of adding the keybinding to the lantirn functions that I used. So currently frustrating to have to rebind several controls when changing between A2A and A2G (LANTIRN) operations.

just define a modifier..

A modifier, okay, so like enabling Caps Lock could work? Or does modifier need another button to be pressed together with the control button?

There is a list of modifiers set up by default CTRL, ALT, SHIFT etc.

You can add a modifier yourself, for example a pinky switch on a stick or a toggle on the throttle.

 

For example, if you have a toggle on the throttle, you can use it a modifier, having it off for AA and on for AG and set accordingly

I'm really not going to hold down CTRL, ALT or SHIFT all the time during either A2A or A2G operations, no way.

What I haven't updated on the PDF is, that I also have mapped the radar elevation control to the axis on the base of the Joystick. Worked very well.

Then you have two columns. The left one for buttosn, the right one for switches.
