Bombed the SE Roki Tunnel entrance with at least 8 GBU-31 3/B's and a mix of other ordnance and not a scratch. Think some of the other tunnel entrances have the same problem as well. Please fix it.

I doubt they would model that type of terrain damage.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Terrain damage would be pretty nice but I'm guessing that implementing that kind of thing would cause lots of problems.

Real time and synchronised modifying of the terrain mesh in multiplayer would probably cause a lot of performance issues for example

Maybe one day we can have some kind of voxel based destructable map, that would be really fun

This has nothing to do with terrain damage. The tunnel entrance has always been destructible going back to DCS World 1. If you look at the map the tunnel entrance is a scenery object as it's a concrete structure like a bridge or a building. Right now the concrete entrance is indestructible for some odd reason but we've always been able to destroy it in the past and MIST records the damage. I've blown it up many times over the years.

Didn't know that.

Is this something personal between you and the tunnel? :D

Maybe it's no longer an object?

Doubtful as it was working just a few months ago. All of the black objects on the map are supposed to be destructible scenery. I think it happened right around the time that they were fiddling with the map height issues.

Just out of curiosity, after destroying the entrance to the tunnel, did you ever notice a train pass through it? I used to blow the heck out of bridges until I saw the vehicles just continue right on along the line in mid-air that was once the bridge. :megalol:

:) It's a road tunnel but if a train pops out of it I'll be sure to let you know.

Kidding aside, it's the famous tunnel that crosses from Russia to South Ossettia.
