raelias
Im sorry for that, but nobody can convince me, that "team is working hard", when its a year and a half since Hornet has been released, and we still don't have even a TGP.... Nobody can convince me, that TGP can't be done for almost two months, since it has been announced that TGP is in internal testing from the end of May. Its frivolous and disrespectful for me as a loyal customer for almost 15 years. Totally agree, I undertand the complexity but if you can make a tgp work in 1.5 years or in a couple of months after it was "pretty much ready" you need to increase the workforce, the hornet is extremelly popular thus extremelly well funded and deserved more priority to make it more compleate for its thousands of owners, the slow pace in decelopment makes me consider if i will get the falcon on EA Win10 64, MSI Krait Gaming Z370, I7 8700K, Geforce 1080Ti FTW3 ,32 GB Ram, Samsung 980 EVO SSD Modules: Combind Arms, A-10C, F-86F, F/A-18, F-16, Flaming Cliffs, KA-50, L-39, P-51, UH-1, Christen Eagle II, Persian Gulf
vctpil
Hi, I far as remember, before the F/A-18 was available in EA, dev (or someone else) was planning for a 2 1/2 year development. That's quite a good estimation in my opinion, so don't expect having all the system working in EA. Concerning the TGP, I suspect that bugs appears on working system due to its introduction. Personnaly, I don't expect the TGP before end of september. Think also that it's summer time, everybody need vacation, mainly when I read some guys on this forum. Flying the F/A-18 is very fun in my opinion, and if you want an aircraft with full systems available, buy the A-10C. My only concern is why dev does not finish some features already implemented for some time now. Have a nice hollyday time all! ED Team NineLine Posted July 17, 2019 ED Team Share Posted July 17, 2019 You tell us ED work hard on Hornet and i see you work hard only to release Viper's early access. Well it's your choice, the futur will tell whether was a good idea or not. That is simply not true. And nothing we have shown shows anything but continued work on the Hornet, the fact that the things we are working one are much more complex and time-consuming. Think about what is being done, and the complexity of it, in most cases we don't have a how-to when it comes to how these systems work, so we basically are recreating these systems with little to go on. So ask yourself how long should it take to build some of these systems, because to suggest the team isn't working hard, is just straight insulting to the people that ARE working hard on these updates. Early Access isn't for everyone. Especially with something as complex as the Hornet. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted July 17, 2019 ED Team Share Posted July 17, 2019 Just to clarify the language. In the patch notes it sais they ADDED the wing fold to the autostart procedure. You say exactly the opposite, that we now have to do it manually. I'm wondering... The translation maybe off slightly in the patch notes I will adjust. But yes wings folded up for auto start on CV, tested it myself :) Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
