On latest Beta

I run all as Admin, DCS excluded from Firewall...

Cannot open file for reading is the error message if you use autoexec.cfg with "disable_write_track = true" option, and you deleted the DCS temp folder contents (you deleted the LastMissionTrack.trk and DCS not created a new one)

I didn know this autoexec exists, so never changed anything. Also I never deleted anything from DCS folder...

I searched for the autoexec.cfg and found it in the main DCS install folder, but there is no "disable_write_track = true" part to find.

Do you know how to reconfigure it to get it working again?

Thank you!

Hi

If you dont have an autoexec in your saved games location it wont be the issue.

Can you try again and after it happens attach your dcs.log we may see some clues in there.

Also remove any unofficial mods and run a cleanup and repair

thanks

I wonder if the temporary track file is being written in the first place. Can you view the track prior to trying to save it?
