hanab Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 - but if the work being reallocated to the Viper can be directly transferred back to the Hornet - then that is somewhat acceptable. Don So viper and hornet are the same coded plane for two paid ? Only 3D model is different ?
Ziptie Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 So viper and hornet are the same coded plane for two paid ? Only 3D model is different ? Not at all man, I think you are reading too much into things people say - rather than reading them for what they actually say. I am saying, that I hope the work they are doing on the Viper can translate over to the Hornet - as in some of the systems, integration of those systems with others, work ethic, etc, etc, etc, etc. And I am thankful that ED are being transparent with their actions, working towards meeting their targets and trying to keep numerous people happy, when those numerous people are from all walks of life with all different types of interests and motivations. Of course things are subject to change. Even though that wasn't their hope, that is what ended up happening. I am not one that likes to stir the pot with criticism towards people, but it can be easy to read back through others posts and see those who do like to.... I'd try be a little less critical and a little more thankful towards the people who provide a gateway to something that you enjoy doing. Beamscanner Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 I honestly blame myself. ED never said how long it would take to bring features online. When I pre-purchased the EA Hornet, I just assumed it wouldn't take a year and a half to get TWS. I made the mistake of thinking "later in early access" meant something like 6 months. I won't be making that mistake again..
BoneDust Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 (edited) I cant say i like the approach followed by ED. I dont like how they have prioritzed the viper launch while it is so recent (it was announced this year!). What is exactly all this rush to have the viper out in Early october? So hard that you have to take the team working on the tgp and TWS to go help out with the F16? For me the more sensitive path would have been to develop the EA hornet something more closer to at least 70% (we are not even at 50% system wise) before commiting so much to a different module. There are so many things yet to implement with the hornet that im getting the impresion it will be more than 2 years from now to get it out of EA given how ED is always inmersed on new things. Mmmm, lets see how will this turn out... Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk :thumbup: That and fix some of these lingering DCS bugs in multiplayer like the repeating ATC clearance, folded wings, and open canopy (just saw this one this evening, and frame rate drop the longer you're on the server. I do appreciate EDs honesty. Disappointed but its not the end of the world. But Today, it is Hope it is only temporaly as he said. « everything is subject to change » Once again, 3 weeks ago it wasnt the case, the decision was now made to help out for Viper release, when that is done, then they will move back to the Hornet. The overall slowdown with the Hornet is simply the complexity of the systems being done now. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
