Hi guys,

Since i updated this evening i seem to have lost any ability for dcs to recognise my Opentrack at all. Looking back i have found some .dll files to install in every module's bin folder to enable opentrack to communicate but it is alot of work and the results are far from what i had. Plus this was never required pre-update.

It would mean tweaking my mapping entirely.

I have tried a repair and another update but neither have resolved my issue.

Please can anyone give me an easy fix for this before the weekend is over :joystick:

Hi

have you checked your _backup folder in dcs root

if anything was moved or changed during the update regarding user tweaks it will be in there.

Had a look but can;t find any files which might relate to headtrack? Any ideas exactly what file would allow opentrack to communicate with DCS.

I have found a better .dll for now which allows this but everything is inverted and mapping is WAY out.

Gunna be a long night of Notepad++ by the looks

Night's post at the bottom of linked post is what i have used for fix now incase anybody else runs in to issues. Download the file and pop into your dcsworld\bin folder

But that’s a thread from 6 years ago? ... I tried open track years ago, but then changed to facetracknoir, that doesnt require to put any .dll or .lua within DCS as it uses the standard FreeTrack 2.0 protocol communication API

Yes, my Opentrack has never required any additional input yet somehow after recent update it has lost all communication with DCS. Therefor, i have had to input a .dll file to compensate right now. Mkaes me curious as to what else i may have lost though in the process :noexpression:
